Description
Triumph often brings internal and external downfall, usually for the worse. In this case, there was bickering between the royal families of Portugal and Castile over the succession of Henry IV of Castile. These households had long-standing disagreements over hegemony in the Atlantic, leading to many battles during this breakdown. However, it was only through the intervention of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church that these two were able to unite. With the help of Pope Sixtus IV and the Church, unity and the growth of the faith throughout Catholic South America was proposed.
